Accounting Specialist is needed for a CPA firm with strong bookkeeping experience. Duties will include balancing a general ledger, maintaining historical records, preparing simple tax returns, providing support to other tax preparers, posting monthly investment transactions and balancing subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries. Person must posses a two year degree in Accounting and have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Good customer service skills, organization skills and attention to detail are a must. Maintaining monthly general ledgers and preparing payroll reports and financial statements for CPA firm clients.
